Keepin' it Local (Sea-town): Aaron Brooks
I'm now officially a rockets fan until the end of their series with the Lakers....
and I was just thinking about Aaron Brooks playing in the McD's HS All American game, lined up with the swirls.
Lot's of people remember this as Kanye's 'do at the 2005 Grammy's, but this pic of Brooks is from back in '03. Just thought it was a fun little fact y'all might not know.... Hot damn, we PNWers sure are trendsetters....
Now, here's me thinking out loud: I'm actually having mixed feelings about the playoffs, because at this point I want the Cavs to take it... but I think the Rockets and Nuggets actually have a better chance of beating them than the Lakers (I think it's gonna come down to who wins in the paint)... So if they do beat the Lakers perhaps there's less of a chance that LeBron will get his ring - which he rightfully deserves - but, Hell, I'd rather not risk the Lakers getting that far/winning, and I probably shouldn't assume that the Cavs will go all the way - but they will. After all, the sooner the Lakers get knocked out, the less traffic I will have to deal with in DTLA. Let me know what you think...
